Just sending out birthday wishes to a very dear friend... I wish I could be there to celebrate with you. I wish things weren't the way they are between us, but I understand... I am thinking about you constantly on this day. Please forgive me for not contacting you directly to say, "Happy Birthday", but I figured that you would prefer it this way.
