What to do?

let them make up their own mind ,if you love them let them speak to you and come at you with it first , if your in love giving up on that person for what you think would tear you and that person away for good , take my advice . be strong & live life with happiness

Tell them your concern. Exactly as you told us. It may hurt them at first, but it will create a space where you can talk about it openly. Then, whatever the outcome, you will know it was best for both of you.
